Abstract
In August 1988, The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposed amendments to the existing 40 CFR Part 257 Criteria for Classification of Solid Waste Disposal Facilities and Practices. The Agency proposed to require, in Part 257, a two-part reporting requirement for industrial solid waste disposal facilities and construction/demolition waste landfills. The background document discusses the notification and exposure information requirements for the above mentioned types of facilities.
