The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) provides a general overview of the worker protection standards as they apply to operations conducted at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. The purpose of the Fact Sheet is to summarize the HAZWOPER air monitoring and sampling aspects of these requirements.
