The report presents: Methods of analysis of mercury in the air, and in biological material; Transport and transformation of mercury in nature and possible routes of exposure; Metabolism; Symptoms and signs of intoxication; Normal concentrations of mercury in biological material; Inorganic mercury-relation between exposure and effects; Organic mercury compounds-relation between exposure and effects; and genetic effects of mercury.
