| Abstract |
The elements of the selected remedy described are the only planned actions for the Site: Pre-design investigations; Site preparation and Consolidation of landfill wastes; Site grading. Cover system with the components as determined necessary for compliance with the relevant sections of Pennsylvania's Hazardous Waste Regulations: Security fencing; Erosion control measures; Institutional controls restrict new well installation in the contaminated zone; Long-term operation and maintenance; Groundwater, surface runoff, leachate spring and seep monitoring (annual), residential well monitoring (semi-annual) and monitoring wells (quarterly); and Five-year reviews. |
