| Abstract |
The report presents a comprehensive water quality investigation in the Snake River Basin (Twin Falls area). The study was conducted in 1971 and included an evaluation of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities. The primary objectives were to: Determine the characteristics and magnitude of municipal and industrial waste loads; evaluate the impact of these waste discharges; ascertain if discharges in compliance with applicable water quality standards; provide a basis for evaluation of Refuse Act Permit applications; and determine if abatement actions are necessary. |
