This example Scope of Work is intended to show what tasks should be considered in preparing contracts to develop SIP revisions for attainment and/or maintenance of the NAAQS where the provisions of 40 CFR 51 Subpart D apply. The tasks and procedures described in this example are based on 40 CFR Part 51 regulations, with emphasis on the provisions of Subpart D published May 3, 1976 (40FR 18382). Some of the individual tasks and procedures are not specifically required by the regulations, but are based on recommendations contained in the Air Quality Maintenance Guidelines or related guidelines.
