Abstract
This directive transmits guidance on the use of authority of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), as amended, to conduct response actions to address releases of hazardous substances, pollutants, or contaminants that are found within buildings. Use of this guidance may assist Regional Decision Teams (RDTs) in implementing early actions under the Superfund Accelerated Cleanup Model (SACM).
