Abstract

This document covers standards applicable to hazardous waste management facilities with 'Interim Status'--that is, they were in existence on November 19, 1980 (the effective date of the regulations), have notified EPA of their activities, and have applied for a permit, which has not yet been processed. The first part of Subpart H addresses requirements for financial assurance for closure and postclosure care and related issues. The second addresses requirements for liability coverage.
