Abstract
The purpose of the study was to appraise water requirements to the year 2070 for water quality control purposes in the Arkansas River basin above John Martin Reservoir, and to determine the need for and value of storage of water in the reservoirs of the proposed Fryingpan-Arkansas Project in the Arkansas River Basin, for the purpose of streamflow regulation for controlling water quality. The results presented are based on projected economic developments and anticipated needs for preservation of water quality in streams in the study area.
