| Abstract |
The report is the Agency's final guidance on use of Section 504 of the Clean Water Act. This emergency provision provides an important supplementary legal tool for addressing public health and welfare threats involving waters of the United States. This guidance should promote greater use of Section 504 by providing detailed information on criteria for emergency use of the section. |
