| Abstract |
The report reviews the components required in a regulatory impact analysis (RIA) of major federal regulations. Eight recent hazardous waste RIAs then are evaluated in terms of how well they meet these requirements. Twelve specific recommendations are provided for improving the usefulness of hazardous waste RIAs in the regulatory decision process. |
