| Abstract |
The memorandum discusses the process used to calculate the PQLs for lead and copper. The PQLs for lead and copper have been calculated from the detection limits listed in Table 1 and from the results of Performance Evaluations (PE) studies. The data from Water Supply PE studies No. 12-17 and the low lead concentration sample from Water Pollution PE study No. 11 have been used to calculate the PQL for lead. The data from Water Pollution studies No. 12-16 have been used to calculate the PQL for copper, since copper was not included in Water Supply studies until very recently. |
