| Abstract |
The study provides a conceptual design of a model to project regional air pollution emissions. Existing national economic forecasting models were examined to determine the extent to which such a model could be disaggregated to provide regional forecasts. It was determined that new model components would be required to project regional values for area and mobile sources and for each industrial source to be forecast. The required data is available or can be developed for each model component. The analysis sets forth the functional relationships of the proposed model, its structural and data requirements, and evaluates its limitations. (Modified author abstract) |
