Abstract |
A small-scale program rehabilitating small-scale waste-water systems: that's the concept behind EPA's On-Site Operator Training Program. Under Section 104(g)(1) of the Clean Water Act, EPA has provided about $2 million a year to states to improve operations and maintenance at sewage treatment works. Highlights from among its hundreds of success stories are presented in the pages that follow. |
