Abstract
The enclosed raw data indicate that the oral LD50 is between 50 and 100 mg/kg. Hypoactivity was seen immediately after dosing followed by depression with recovery in survivors at 24 hours. This chemical is commercially distributed and used in a variety of products. Severe irritation was observed in the dermal toxicity and irritation study but would be expected based on a pH of 10.4 for this chemical.
