Abstract
A study was conducted to determine the applicability of using manganese-coated acrylic fibers to remove radium from drinking water. The technique of using manganese-coated fibers to remove radium from drinking water is a simple, effective and economical procedure which is compatible with the operations of a municipal utility crew.
