Abstract
This is the second annual compilation of data from the National Water Quality Network of the Public Health Service. This year the Network has added Strontium-90 and heavy metals analyses to the examinations made during the first year. The following examinations are considered to be of greatest value in meeting the objectives of the program: Radioactivity, Plankton populations, Coliform organisms, Organic chemicals, Biochemical, chemical, and physical measurements, and Trace elements.
