| Abstract | A major Federal effort is underway to develop methods for disposal of high-level radioactive waste in deep geologic repositories. An important element of this program is the development and promulgation by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of environmental standards for the management of these wastes. The purpose of this report is to examine several issues relevant to release mechanisms and migration pathways. |
