| Abstract |
The report provides a detailed description of a one-year study that was conducted to measure the Airborne Radionuclide Emissions from five phosphogypsum stacks in Central Florida. Measurements were conducted over a 12-month period on four active and one inactive phosphogypsum stacks. The study included the following measurements: 1260 radon-222 flux, 90 ambient radon-222, and 50 gamma-ray exposure rates. Also, radionuclide analyses were performed on 33 airborne particulate samples, 9 airborne particle-size samples, and 50 phosphogypsum samples. |
