The paper describes and illustrates the variety of instruments available at the Center for measurement of radioactivity in various environmental media. Shown are instruments that may be used for the measurement of gross radioactivity; those for measuring specific kinds of radioactivity as from alpha, beta, or gamma emitters; and instruments such as the gamma spectrometer for identification of specific radionuclides.
