| Abstract |
Microwave generating devices have become increasingly prevalent and diverse in recent years. Their use is expected to continue to grow. Although there has been an awareness of the biological effects that can result from exposure to microwaves, there still exists a paucity of information and some controversy concerning the biological effects of these radiations. This Symposium was held to provide an indication of the present state of knowledge in the area of microwave health effects. The Proceedings are a compilation of the 31 technical papers presented, the deliberations that followed each one, and the two panel discussions that concluded the meeting. (Author) |
