Abstract

This report documents the results of a survey which was performed during the period from June to October 1969 to investigate the various facets of Federal radiation control. The items investigated included statutory control authority, control programs and procedures, and the quantities and various types of radiation-emitting electronic products and radioactive materials used by the Federal government. Thirty-three selected departments and agencies were asked to answer specific questions relating to their programs for controlling radiation from electronic products and radioactive materials. Their responses are summarized and discussed. (Author)
