| Abstract |
This document provides, guidance in the areas of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) for participants in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Radon Proficiency Program (RPP) (U.S. EPA 1995a). The QA practices described in this report are necessary and expected components of high quality radon and radon decay product measurements. The specific QC measurements, recordkeeping, and analysis methods outlined are consistent with routine procedures for radiation measurements and standard practices by Federal laboratories and contractors. |
