| Abstract |
Acute dermal toxicity was evaluated in groups of 4 rabbits (sex and strain not reported) receiving a single application of triethylamine at dose levels of 200, 2000 and 5000 mg/kg of body weight. The method and length of application were not reported. Mortality was observed within 7 days of dosing in 3 animals at the 2000 mg/kg dose and in all 4 animals at the 5000 mg/kg dose; the LD50 was not reported. Clinical observations included severe dermal responses. Gross necropsy was not reported. |
