Details are given for communications and data processing system developed to assist and facilitate hydrologic research on Lake Champlain (Vermont and New York). The system functions for Audio Information Transmission (AITS) and for Remote Information Processing (RIPS). Both of these functions utilize broadcasting signals to a repeater unit situated on a television tower on the top of Mt. Mansfield. (Author) |
