| Abstract |
The need for utilization of water resources research to meet the complex pressures placed on this resource continues to grow. Communication of research information between research workers and those responsible for water resources development and its subsequent use is increasingly important. In North Carolina the Water Resources Research Institute is a major center for water resources research. Primary emphasis of the Institute has been directed to research with increasing recognition of the need to examine the communication and use of research findings. (Author) |
