Confidiential was administered to pregnant rabbits in two groups (5 animals/dose level). Dosages were administered at 10, 50, 100, and 200 mg/kg to the primary group of animals. An additional grou of rabbits received 300 mg/kg to investigate further possible adverse effects of the test material. Doses were administered to both groups of rabbits during gestational days six through twenty- seven. A female of the primary group dosed with 200mg/kg developed clonic convulsions, a neurotoxic symptom, and subsequently died. The NOEL was, therefore, estimated to be lower than 200mg/kg.
