Abstract | A Special Evaluation Project (SEP) analyzed the costs relating to the planning and construction of alternative conveyance systems (ACS) of 23 municipalities. The current SEP is a follow-up to the above study in that it examines aspects of the operation and maintenance (O&M) of ACS. The study provides the general description of the ACS of the municipalities and the key management personnel, describes the tasks involved in their respective O&M programs, establishes an O&M cost data base, and identifies those problems which occurred during the construction and operation of the ACS. |
