Abstract
This study evaluates the monetary and environmental costs and benefits of several alternative methods of dealing with thermal waste discharge at the Newton Power Plant presently being built in Jasper County, Illinois by the Central Illinois Power Service Corporation. There were three sets of thermal discharge standards used in this study.
