| Abstract |
This preliminary report presents State estimates of the cost of construction of publicly-owned treatment works needed to meet the 1983 goals of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments (FWPCA) of 1972. These provisions of the law had the dual purpose of obtaining a comprehensive estimate of the cost of meeting the goals of the FWPCA, and of/estimating these costs State by State as a possible basis for allocation of construction grant funds authorized after Fiscal Year 1975. |
