| Abstract |
Literature on urban nonpoint source runoff was surveyed to determine the magnitude of the effects of that source of contaminants to stream ecosystems. Ecological literature provided a basis for evaluating such impacts based on benthic invertebrate biomass and diversity, measurement of community primary production and respiration, carbon cycling, and variables related to the contaminant concentrations in the stream. |
