Abstract |
The forums were held to create a setting conducive for interested and affected parties to learn more about the many pieces of the puzzle related to agricultural field burning. Experts in agriculture, health, and government were invited to share information and interact with stakeholders in order to meet the following goals: Increase knowledge of the different sides of the issue, including technical, human, environmental, and economic aspects; Improve understanding of the range of people's concerns and questions; Develop ideas for workable solutions; and Increase opportunities for ongoing participation and trust among stakeholders. |
