Abstract
The 1980 NAPAP Emissions Inventory point source emissions data for the 48 contiguous United States are contained in the data file. Annual emissions of 11 pollutants (SO2, SO4, NOx, Pb, CO, HC1, HF, NH3, TSP, VOC, and total hydrocarbons) from 13,769 plants encompassing 34,483 emission points and 50,159 source classification code (SCC) or process level records are present. The data file (Product B) is one of a series of 1980 NAPAP Emissions Inventory products. A report ('Development of the 1980 NAPAP Emissions Inventory') documenting the contents of the data file is available as Product A. Other emissions inventory products include data files containing U.S. and Canadian annual point and area source emissions (Version 5.0) and temporally, spatially, and species-resolved emissions for a typical weekday, Saturday, and Sunday in each season (Versions 5.2 and 5.3). Version 5.2 contains total hydrocarbons (THC) speciated into 28 photochemical reactivity classes, while THC in Version 5.3 are speciated into 10 classes based on carbon bond IV chemistry.
