Abstract
Water quality problems in the Potomac River Basin, their sources and corrective actions required, are the subject of continuing investigations by the Chesapeake Technical Support Laboratory. The water quality conditions in the Potomac Estuary are monitored, usually weekly, by CTSL and by the Department of Sanitary Engineering of the District of Columbia. The results of the monitoring program for the months of May through October 1968 are presented in the report.
