| Abstract |
The study presents and evaluates the available data dealing with the requirements of State and local governments to achieve the desired water quality standards for beneficial water uses. The study relates the requirements for sewage treatment plant construction in perspective to other competing projects confronting the affected units of government; and it appraises the major financial and legal problems which will be encountered in implementing the water quality standards. |
