| Abstract |
Proposed construction of wastewater facilities by the city of Boise and the Eagle Sewer District are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency, and grant assistance is recommended. The EPA has concluded that the projects are cost effective and environmentally preferable to other offered alternatives. Concern remains over low flow requirements in the Boise River and potential habitat impacts associated with the New Eagle Sewer District treatment facility. EPA requests the Eagle Sewer District to consult with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game and with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service during the pre design phase. |
