Abstract |
The paper discusses the types of materials used in the manufacture of polymeric liners for waste management and the permeability of such liners. It also presents experimental permeability results for a range of commercial polymeric membranes to gases, water vapor, and solvent vapors. Current results of studies of the permeability characteristics of membranes as observed in pouch experiments are presented. |
