Abstract
The report is a study of the cost of carrying out the Federal Water Pollution Control Act; another, a study of the economic impact on affected units of government due to the cost of installing waste treatment facilities; and the third, a study of the national requirements for and the cost of treating municipal, industrial, and other effluent to attain water quality standards. The report comprises a combined updating of the second and third studies -- the economic impact and the national requirements and cost estimate studies.
