Abstract
The purpose of the contract is to provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with chemical analytical services, quality control procedures, and an analysis structure which will generate data of known and documented quality. The document was developed with the guidance of the Air Toxics Workgroup to ensure that the needs of regional, state, and local air pollution programs are addressed. The samples to be analyzed are of ambient air collected in canisters at or in the vicinity of known or suspected hazardous waste sites and may contain potentially hazardous organic in significant concentrations. The Contractor should be aware of the potential hazards associated with the handling and analyses of these samples.
