Abstract | In the report, a special class of models is examined and several exiting formulations are compared. These models utilize pollutant concentration distributions and human time-activity patterns, methods of matching concentrations and activities, the number of pollutants which can be handled, accomodation for short-term (acute) or long-term (chronic) exposures, treatment of uncertainties and errors in the modeling techniques. Models are also compared to ascertain whether the computer program itself is well written, modular, and user friendly with simple input of variables and clear, understandable outputs. |
