Abstract
This record of Decision presents the selected no further action remedy for the Hopkins Farm Site, in Plumsted Township, Ocean County, New Jersey. The U.S. Environmnetal Protection Agency, in conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, has determined that no further remedial action is necessary at the Hopkins Farm Site. The major compartments of the no further action remedy are: Implementation of a monitoring program involving ground water, surface water and sediment sampling to confirm that any residual comtamination remains below levels of concern; and Visual inspection of the Site in order to monitor and maintain the revegetated areas to insure that the planted species survive or are replaced, as needed.
