| Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to estimate playa modification costs and health benefits within a 27 county area of the Texas High Plains. The specific objectives were to: present the known causes and effects of arthropod-borne encephalitis; estimate costs of alternative playa modifications; and estimate health benefits from encephalitis control. |
