Abstract
General objectives of the study are to assess the probable effects of project construction and operation on water quality in local streams, reservoirs, and wells; to ascertain the benefits or harm resulting from changes in water quality; and to determine the need for and the value of storage for regulation of streamflow for the purpose of water quality control. These objectives were studied in the light of present conditions; also under anticipated economic development of the years 1985, 2010, and 2060. The report also includes the results of a study of general public health aspects and insect vector control of the project. A preliminary evaluation of the insect vector problems that may be associated with development of the Wheatland Unit is presented.
