Abstract

The Clean Air Act requires the designation of 'air quality control regions' prior to the adoptation of air quality standards and plans for implementation of the standards. A study was thus conducted of the metropolitan Pittsburg area. The results of the study are presented in the report. It consists of a description of the region, an emission inventory, meteorology, and urban factors.
