Abstract
The document presents an Explanation of Significant Difference (ESD) from the Record of Decision (ROD) for the Washrack Treatment Area (WTA) at McChord Air Force Base. The selected remedy for the WTA addressed the potential risks posed by fuel-related contaminants in the groundwater by reducing site contamination to levels that are protective of human health and the environment.
