Abstract
The relationship between the Charles River and other tributaries and water pollution in Boston Harbor is analyzed. The types of waste discharge, their sources, and their effect on aquatic life, nutrient concentration, and chemical characteristics of the Charles River and other tributaries is presented. An analysis of bottom deposits in the waterways is also given.
