"At the request of the... Region 10 office in Seattle, Washington, the Environmental Monitoring Systems Laboratory in Las Vegas conducted an inventory of the wetland resources of Puget Sound. The Las Vegas laboratory collected color aerial photographs of all priority ares to be surveyed. The inventory consists of photograph enlargements with an acetate overlay delineating the locations of the various wetland communities and other terrestrial and aquatic classes. The wetlands are subdivided into three classes: forest wetlands, shrub wetlands, and marsh wetlands. Additional classes included are mudflats, beach, rocky shore, rooted aquatics, and floating aquatics." -- p. ii, Abstract in accompanying summary.
