Notes
May 1979. Yabucoa Sun is planning to dispose of oily sludges by aerobic biodegredation. This will be accomplished by spreading the sludge on the ground and tilling it into the top 6 inches of soil. The soil bacteria will use the oil as food, and in so doing will produce carbon dioxide and water as harmless by-products. The land can be reclaimed for other uses after landfarming operations have ceased. "September 1986." Bibliography: p. 7-1 - 7-21.
