Abstract
This Semiannual Report to Congress contains the results of our work for the reporting period April 1, 2011, through September 30, 2011. While we conducted work in numerous areas, several themes were prominent. In addition to our mandatory work, we performed multiple reviews related to issues of concern to policy makers and the American people: climate change, the ongoing cleanup of the Gulf Coast oil spill, the spending of stimulus funds, and homeland security.
