Abstract
The Water Quality Management Accomplishments, Compendium I includes 58 brief case studies that document programs and activities, developed through WQM planning efforts, which have significant potential for improving water quality. Cases are classified as either accomplishments or performance indicators. Accomplishments indicate programs which have been formally adopted and are being implemented. Performance indicators are WQM recommended programs which have received some preliminary commitment but have not reached the implementation stage. The cases are examples of successful efforts by WQM planning agencies to achieve implementation of outputs from the 208 program.
